On Saturday, May 24, 2025, the eagerly awaited AllbauLauf took place for the 12th time around the picturesque Niederfeldsee and the impressive Krupp Park in Essen-Altendorf. The event, organized by the dedicated LT Starlight Team Essen, offered an exciting running program for all age groups and performance levels. Around 1,000 motivated runners participated in the various competitions, ranging from a 300 m kids' run to a 1 km student run, as well as a 5 km fun run and the challenging 10 km main race. The course is nearly flat and fast, making it ideal for all participants.

Highlights

  • The route runs along the bike and hiking path and on a turnaround course over the Niederfeldsee to Krupp Park.
  • Each kilometer is marked, featuring a nearly flat and therefore fast paved or gravel course.
  • A special highlight was the city championship of the Essen elementary schools, where the schools with the highest number of participants were honored with great applause.
